Hey there tribe, I know it’s been awhile but I’ve been busy building Cosmic Scents and fulfilling orders left and right. I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported the crystal-infused essential oil spray movement (haha!!) but everything in me was telling me that it was time to sit my butt back down and get back to writing.
Some of you may know that last week I did an IG post about a few really powerful stones and I got tons of great feedback about the information shared! One of my tribe-mates suggested that I do a weekly post about a different crystal so in an effort to spread the word, to spread knowledge and to encourage spiritual cleaning & healing, I wanted to spend some time here delving into 3 protective stones that any seasoned or beginner crystal collector should have.
So let’s get into it, shall we?
Hematite
This is one of the most powerful & protective stones among all crystals because it absorbs all negative energy, creating somewhat of a cosmic force field around you, allowing you to feel more calm & less anxious during stressful times. According to energymuse.com (my go-to site for crystal properties), the Hematite crystal works to pull any stray negative energy in the aura to the root chakra where it neutralizes its harmful effects by balancing and aligning all seven chakras. This explains why Hematite is one of the best root chakra stones. Hematite fosters balance & equilibrium and is one of the best stones to carry with you on a daily basis either in your purse, car, briefcase, etc. With its magnetic properties, those who wear a pacemaker should be mindful of carrying hematite as it can cause severe complications.
Smoky Quartz
Smoky Quartz is known to amplify the vibrations & energy in other stones surrounding it and is also known for healing past emotional wounds. Like Clear Quartz & Amethyst stones, both popular stones in the Quartz family, Smoky Quartz is a stone of intention. You can “program it” by setting very clear and genuine intentions, releasing all negative energy from you aura, allowing space and opportunity for your intentions to manifest. It gets its wispy hints of brown from exposure to natural underground radiation from granite deposits, giving regular Quartz an added punch of celestial vibrations.
Rhodonite
This beautiful stone balances emotional wounds from the past, grounds energy & dispels panic and anxiety. Truthfully, since receiving this stone from @soulfulvibesco, my anxiety had died down tremendously. I think with a combination of my energetic-cleansing and setting intentions with this healing & protective stone, I have been able to gain a much deeper sense of clarity, balance & calm. This stone, like Rose Quartz, is also a stone for compassion and nurtures love. It balances yin-yang energy and aids in achieving one’s highest potential by clearing out past energies that may be plaguing the mind & heart.
